Another tourist spot! But the funny thing is, the cab driver didn't know this place. I got off the cab and ask one of the baristas in Starbucks instead. The girl mentioned that it's actually cheaper to go by train and boat.

Getting there |
We boarded the train from Rachathewi station. I cant remember how much is the fare for one way to Saphan Taksin Station.
Upon reaching Saphan Taksin station, we followed the sign board. It's somewhere on the left side.
The view while waiting for the boat to come.
The boat finally arrived and it was rather big! It can accommodate quite a number of people. Oh, and the boat ride is free.

On the way to Asiatique |
Finally reach Asiatique!
|
Asiatique! |
I have to say, it was a sad night. Upon reaching Asiatique, it started raining. Heavily. So much for exploring the whole place. :(
Look at how empty the walk way is! The rain just got heavier and heavier as the night goes by.
I did find this shoe store, Geraffee! They sell handmade ballerina flats as well as high heels.
I bought a pair for THB900! The sales person mentioned that all the shoes are designed by his friend. AND he guarantee that I will not be able to find the same design anywhere else as his friend only made one of each size for every design.

They do sell some clothes as well.

Here's their details, available on their paper bags.
Speaking of paper bags, I really like their simple but cute design!
Moving along now ...
Thai people must really love their dogs! This must be like the third dog that I saw being walked on leash. In Asiatique, there is also a store that sells pet clothing line.

You can basically find everything you want here. From clips to clothes to shoes to accessories!

It was raining, so no one played the Ferris Wheel. Although I did hear a China lady telling her husband that she wanna go for a ride.

Saw this unique thing while walking at the mall. You can stamp your Asiatique 'passport' to record which part of Asiatique you have visited.

I came across this store that sells bath accessories. They have fragrants, soaps, loofah and all sort of things.
I couldn't resist buying a Monkey Loofah for myself. I tried it and I really like the smell of the soap and I feel clean after exfoliate!

Another thing about Asiatique is the decorations!
They took the time to decorate the walkways with life sized ornaments! I wish it didn't rain as I can't explore the whole place to properly decide if I love the place or not. Nonetheless, I like what I saw so far. I will definitely take the time to visit this place again.
