Bosphorus - Fine Turkish Cuisine

Met up with an old friend at Pavilion(KL). The first time, we had Lebanese food and decided to try Turkish this time round.

This Turkish restaurant is known as Bosphorus. You can see their site here.

Both of us didn't know much about Turkish food and just ordered whichever one that attracted our attention.

(from www.groupon.my)
While waiting, we enjoy the atmosphere and interior design of the restaurant. It feels really homey. I think you can actually look around at the carpet store which is connected to the restaurant.

First up, Turkish tea.
Turkish Tea
I love the small tea cup which is just really cute! However, it taste a bit like Lipton Tea, much to our disappointment.

Then come the complimentary hummus and bread. It taste a bit like Indian food unlike the hummus that I took a liking for. Perhaps it's the paprika?

Mixed Grill(Single)
It's basically small portion of steak. The rice is nice though. Friend commented that the rice makes the price worth paying, in a very sarcastic way.

Up next: Iskender Kebab!
It's basically sliced meat placed on top of bread and heavily soaked in tomato paste.

Above is the amount charged for our meal.

I don't really want to be negative, but I have to say that I wish I've done my research before heading there.
